In June, the Kerman Service Center became the fifth 51街射 office to host an Open House, welcoming community members for an afternoon of food, refreshments, raffles, and connection. More than 40 people attended the event, including Kerman Mayor Maria Pacheco, who is also a candidate for Fresno County Board of Supervisors District 1.听
Guests had the opportunity to learn more about 51街射 programs and services while enjoying raffle prizes, including a propane grill generously donated by Custom Training Solutions.听
The event also brought together members of Fuerza, a local community group that supports residents through immigration law resources and community fundraising efforts. Attendees included Mayra Galvez, Maria Pacheco, Yasmin Enriquez, Candie, and other community supporters.听
As part of the Open House, the Kerman team distributed long-sleeve shirts collected during the AFOP National Long Sleeve Drive earlier this year. Long-sleeve shirts provide an important layer of protection for farmworkers by helping reduce sun exposure and supporting pesticide safety efforts.听
The Open House was a successful opportunity to strengthen community partnerships, share resources, and support the well-being of local farmworker families.
