The William M. Maguy School of Education celebrated an impressive month of student achievement in July, recognizing 36 graduates across three program completions. Two Truck Driving classes and one SEED (Sustainable Energy Efficiency Development) class.听
The first graduation ceremony took place on July 6 at Self-Help Enterprises, where 28 students were honored, including 12 graduates from the Truck Driving Program and 16 graduates from the SEED Program. Due to the size of the graduating class, the ceremony was held at Self-Help Enterprises to accommodate graduates, their families, friends, and staff who gathered to celebrate.听
The month concluded with another Truck Driving Program graduation on July 28, recognizing eight additional students for successfully completing the six-week training program. With the completion of the program, these graduates are now eligible to take their Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) examination at the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV), bringing them one step closer to beginning careers in the trucking industry.听

Whether preparing for careers in commercial trucking or the energy efficiency industry, these graduates have gained valuable skills that will open doors to new employment opportunities and brighter futures.听
